The Objective: To build a scalable, community-driven model for mentorship and leadership that fosters visibility, professional development, and equity across the MENA music ecosystem, establishing a blueprint for cultural inclusion through strategic design and implementation.

The Project: CTRL provides end-to-end project delivery and strategic design for Hunna, a regional mentoring and leadership initiative supporting women in the MENA music industry. Our agency developed the entire framework for the programme from the conceptual and operational design to community strategy, partner engagement, and impact evaluation.

We built the structure for a six-month mentoring cycle, combining monthly curated workshops with expert speakers, peer-to-peer learning sessions, and in-person events such as the Introduction to Music Production Workshop at BeastHouse in Riyadh. CTRL also designed the communications and engagement ecosystem including a monthly newsletter framework, community touchpoints, and the formation of the Hunna Committee, a governance and engagement model that integrates alumni, mentors, and partners into programme delivery and selection processes.

In addition, CTRL mapped and activated key strategic partners and allies, creating a partnership matrix and community engagement strategy to ensure sustainability, cross-regional collaboration, and long-term visibility for women in the music sector.
